Santa's Village!
Even though Adam took a bad spill today, he still had a great time at Santa's Village in the evening! This place was great! They had tons of little houses set up like a village and you walked from one to the next, and each one had fun stuff for the kids to do...the best one being Santa's house of course, where Adam got to sit on Santa's lap and tell him what he wants for Christmas. He was SO nervous he barely got the words out, but he was able to say "A BIIIIGGG monster truck like Bigfoot" in answer to Santa's question. They had the North Pole Bank where you got to put your "ATM card" in a slot and out popped some money that you took over to a cashier who gave you a Santa whistle...
Even Pooh was there by his fireplace to have a picture with...
then there was Rudolph's barn where Adam sat on a saddle and had a red dot painted on his nose so he'd look like Rudolph...although with the injury to the nose area, there wasn't much difference.
There was the North Pole Fire Station where real firemen put their fire hat and coat on Adam and he looked in the mirror to see what he looked like...the firemen said he looked like a real fireman with cuts and blood and everything!
One of Santa's elves juggled for us while we waited in line, and balanced a spinning plate and even let Adam take a turn with it!
There was a great band playing and when he heard "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" being played, Adam couldn't help himself...he ran towards the music and danced his little heart out!
Then the band asked for some kids to come help them with Jingle Bells and Adam ran up on stage and jingled those bells like a pro! All in all it was a wonderful experience, and so great to see Christmas through a child's eyes again.
