Zoo field trip

Adam' class went to the Dallas Zoo! This is one of the times I hate being a working mom, especially with my job being so difficult to get time off...

but as usual, the Lord provides...thankfully Alan works at home so he's able to do these things with Adam if I can't. They had a great time!

Easter Camping

Over Easter we went with some friends to Robber's Cave in Oklahoma...what a GREAT camping spot! Rock climbing, geocaching, playing with friends, learning to ride his 2 wheeler...what else could you want from a campout?!

McKenzie, Madison, Adam and Dalton had an awesome time!

Adam was SO silly on this campout with this funny dance he did all weekend...he has the best sense of humor!

The rock climbing gave me heart palpitations at first, but Adam proved to be quite the agile climber. He LOVED it!

Always fun playing on the playground with Dad...wait a minute, Dad is scavenging with the metal detector...are we surprised? NO!

Of course since it was Easter we colored eggs. Meant to do a hunt, but it rained all night Saturday so we went home Sunday morning...did the hunt at home once it stopped raining!

Christmas 08

Santa gave Adam reindeer antlers which went on over the bike helmet for the inagural ride..along with the new croc slippers, knee and elbow pads and incredibles costume under the whole thing!

Cousins Justin, Ashleigh and Jordan are a joy.

Daingerfield Again???

Yes! We love Daingerfield. We aren't really sure why, but we've tried other places and we always end up back at Daingerfield. It's a beautiful spot, great quiet little lake, wonderful hiking trail around the lake...great, clean camping spaces. Just a perfect mix for us. I can't believe I missed getting a picture of this, but Adam and Alan went SWIMMING in the lake..in October...and it was COLD. but they had fun!
